Congratulations to Irene Kong of 5B on receiving the Bronze Award in the Short Essay Writing Competition for Hong Kong Secondary School Students 2026, organised by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

With the theme “Fables for the AI Era”, the competition attracted 1,543 entries. Irene received her award at the presentation ceremony on 25 September 2026 for her story. We are proud of her achievement and celebrate her creativity and writing talent!

The competition anthology, Fables for the AI Era, which will include all the winning works, will be available in print and electronic editions in November, with printed copies sent to winning schools. We look forward to sharing the e-book link when it becomes available.
