Good News from English Department

Three students — Zoie Chan, Alice Kwan, and Sharon Yiu from 4D — formed a team and excelled in the preliminary round of the prestigious 2024 Secondary School Model UNESCO International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education. They advanced to the main conference held on July 7 at the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus. This conference featured four divisions, each with 14 delegations consisting of students from various local and international secondary schools across Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

This event mirrored the structure and dynamics of international conferences, providing the students a unique platform to engage deeply with current global issues. The primary focus for our students was to debate and develop innovative solutions for the responsible and effective use of AI in education, aimed at fostering sustainable development. Their outstanding performance and proactive contributions were highly commended, highlighting their commitment to addressing complex global challenges.
