It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Tak Oi Secondary School website, in which you will learn more about how we promote transformative education that can facilitate girls’ whole-person growth and develop their unique potentials for being the young women leaders of tomorrow.

The long-established tradition, culture and reputation of Tak Oi Secondary School has been built with the concerted effort of different generations of educators, students and stakeholders. As a Catholic EMI girls’ school, we are strongly committed to enlightening the spirit and the mind of girls with Truth as well as nurturing their hearts and souls with Love. At Tak Oi, girls are to envision, engage, evaluate and evolve through a rich array of learning opportunities inside and outside classroom. At Tak Oi, girls learn and strive for excellence to conquer changes and overcome challenges for a better tomorrow.

Thanks to the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, girls are nurtured with a big heart and the core values of love, truth, joy and thanksgiving. They all desire to make a difference and become a positive force in the world. The readiness to appreciate all that is good, true and beautiful enables them to dedicate themselves to self-growth and contribute to the common good of the universe. With a great team of teaching professionals, girls are equipped with an open mind, multiple literacies and generic skills for life-long learning. The language literacy in both Chinese and English enables them to break barriers, connect to people from different backgrounds on a deeper level of understanding, and draw insights for greater personal growth.
